Minorcan authenticity

An iconic Finca in MINORQUE

Nestled in a verdant valley, Santa Ponsa captivates with its aristocratic architecture, emblematic red façade and terraced gardens inspired by the Alhambra. Over 100 hectares, lush nature flourishes: century-old palm trees, babbling fountains and citrus scents create a veritable sensory symphony.

The site is an invitation to calm and contemplation. Relax in an armchair under the trees or by one of the pools, whether heated to 31°C indoors or refreshingly cool outdoors, and enjoy every moment.

Two jewel cases, one vision: the art of travel according to Fontenille Menorca

The Fontenille Menorca hotel concept stands out for its unique approach: it brings together two neighboring fincas, Santa Ponsa and Torre Vella. Two distinct yet complementary worlds offering a multitude of experiences just 10 minutes apart: well-being, local gastronomy, serenity and cultural discovery. Thanks to their proximity, guests can enrich their stay by exploring these two facets of Menorca.

The essence of sustainable agroturismo

Nestled in the sunny heights of the island, Santa Ponsa pursues the same Société à Mission raison d'être as its sister finca Torre Vella: to offer exceptional hospitality while regenerating the land and communities that surround it. Here, every gesture - from the choice of materials to the composition of the plates - is designed to leave a positive mark and inspire our guests to become, themselves, agents of change. Renowned for its unspoilt character, Menorca attracts tourists in search of authenticity and unique experiences. Santa Ponsa fully embraces this spirit by promoting an exceptional agricultural project: listed terraced gardens, a vast citrus orchard and a permaculture organic vegetable garden. This veritable ecosystem highlights the richness of the Minorcan terroir and celebrates a way of life in harmony with nature.

Autonomous & recycled water
A private well covers 100% of drinking water needs. Our micro-station then treats the grey water, which is re-injected into the organic orchards - zero wasted drops, zero stress for the island's resources.
Waste sorting & composting
Full selective sorting since 2023 and, from 2025, on-site composting to transform bio-waste into natural fertilizer. Objective: -40% of residual waste.
Smart thermostats: sober comfort
Each room is equipped with a thermostat capped at 23°C. This simple rule reduces electricity consumption by up to 15%, while ensuring a responsible stay in Menorca.

A sanctuary of well-being

Santa Ponsa is all about well-being. Everything here is geared towards restoring balance. The spa, housed in 18th-century cisterns, is a timeless showcase. Covered swimming pool, aquatic course, steam room, sauna and massage rooms make up a space of absolute rejuvenation. Treatments, developed using Susanne Kaufmann's natural protocols, draw on the benefits of plants to revitalize body and mind. To prolong the experience, a private terrace on the roof of the cistern offers an exceptional panorama, where you can relax in the sun in a peaceful atmosphere.
